December was a full month! We made coco jars, gingerbread houses, ornaments and cut down a tree. Leandra and I hosted a Mother Daughter Christmas tea where we shared the true meaning of Christmas with some of her friends. We had out of State visitors from WA and NJ. Leandra was is both our Church Christmas Program and her Preschool Christmas Program. It was a great month but I welcome the not so busy month of January.

Meet Tilly

We have added another member to our family, her name is Tilly. She is a loveable and bouncey Beagle. Leandra and Tilly have already become best friends. The have a great time together in the back yard. Welcome home Tilly.

Sugar Highs and Rotten Teeth

It's been almost a week now since Halloween or Trick or Treat day (that is what we call it at our house.) And I think I have eaten more candy in the last week than my pants can take. Since the candy has arrived Leandra says that she is hungry for candy about every 5 minutes and although we threw out over 80% of the candy that she was treated with by our family and friends that 20% seems to be lasting forever. How do you deal with the aftermath of Halloween? Do your kids seem to be on an endless sugar high from now until Christmas and at what point do you start to worry about rotten teeth?
