Adventures In The Lepp Living Room

So not much happened this past week. I have been nursing a pulled shoulder muscle and haven't felt like doing much. But we managed to find some excitement in our living room. We live close to Rail Road Tracks so we get to experience the train quite a bit. So we made a train of our own. Leandra was a great conductor and Jesslyn an eager passenger.


Our cat Copper decided that Jesslyn's car seat was the perfect place for a much needed cat nap after keeping Mark and I up all night wanting out and then wanting in again.


Jesslyn discovered she could control her blink. It is very hilarious to witness but not so easy to photograph.

A Visit From A Friend!

My good friend Kathy from WA came for a visit to celebrate her birthday. Her husband Kyle, sent her here for a surprise! And so celebrate we did. We went to Chevy's and had an Ice Cream Cake from Cold Stone.( I am finishing up the last piece as I type....... sooo good) Our family enjoyed getting to know Reese (the newest addition to their family) better too. What a cutie! He is 10 days younger than Jesslyn. We had a lot of laughs, great conversations and fun being creative together, something I love to do with Kathy. I was so glad that I could be her birthday surprise.




Kathy is one of those special life long friends that you don't have to see or talk to everyday to know you can pick up where you left off the last time you were together, and know the time you are together will be great! I am already looking forward to the next time we can get together!

Sleeping Sisters

I can not believe how quickly time has passed! Jesslyn is already 6 1/2 months. She has a very different personality than Leandra but loves to laugh and smile at her sister. Jesslyn loves to be held mostly by me. Leandra loved anyone to hold her. Jesslyn doesn't care much for the nursery at church. Leandra easily went to the nursery. Jesslyn loves peas and carrots. Leandra gags at the thought of them. Jesslyn will take a shower with me. Leandra still will only take a bath and it is torture to have to get water any where near her face. Jesslyn is not so interested in taking a bottle. Leandra loved the bottle. Jesslyn has brown hair. Leandra has a blondish color.
It is amazing to me that they both are a sleep at 4:00pm! Praise the Lord that they have that in common.

This week......

Leandra received her first hair cut.

Jesslyn had peas for the first time.....loved them! Finally someone to eat veggies with!

Leandra made a piggy bank.

We took a trip to the snow drove 4 hours round trip for 45mins of playing in cold cold snow. But it was fun. The day was gorgeous and so was the drive. We'd love for you to share your week with us.
