It's Been A While

I can't believe it's been a month since my last post. Time is just flying. Sunday Jesslyn will be 11 months. My heart breaks just thinking about it. Leandra is such the little preschooler. She can't wait for it to be summer. We had a little taste of summer this week it was in the 90's. We did some swimming and we ran in the sprinkler. This past month has been full of Home Improvement projects and Church actives, Dance, Golfing, Chamber Mixers, Gardening and a whole bunch of other things. I've been picking zucchini like crazy trying to figure out what to do will all of it. This weekend we are going to Half Moon Bay. It is a great beach. There are tons of tide pools and sea creatures to see. The weather should be great. We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Mark's Sister and her family as they transition out of Army life! They will be here next Friday. We are looking forward to meeting their new addition and spending some quality time with them.
Kiddo update:
Jesslyn is growing like a weed. She loves to stand up in the middle of the room and do squats. She has tried several times to escape from her high chair while being buckled and almost made it on to the table once. She started sticking her tongue our when she is trying to reach something. It's very funny. She loves to laugh with her big sis and their laughter seems to feed off of each other. Each time we walk down the hall she points at the pictures and says "dat"! She likes to hear each persons name as she points to them. And says Mama, Dada and Nan-dra with you. She gets so excited when our cat walks in the room. And loves to lay on Copper when ever she get the chance. It is so fun to watch her personality come out more and more each day. And watch her hair grow too.(finally)
Leandra 31/2 just had 4 1/2 inches cut off here hair! Leandra is quite the little lady. She loves to have her fingers and toes painted by Auntie Mallory. She is very talkative and half the time she will just talk to herself if no one seems to be listening. She loves Strawberries and has already requested a Strawberry Shortcake Birthday party. This past month we went to a Teddy Bear Tea put on by the community it was fun to have some one on one time with her. She has an explanation for almost anything and if she doesn't she says "well I just don't know" She is quite the mother hen when it comes to both Jesslyn and her cousin Dexter. She is learning that she must tell an adult about the problem/situation before she attempts to solve it. She plays well with most kids and has such a loving heart. Her high light of the week is when we go to church. I love that!
Here are some pic's that will catch you up on our month!

When Dexter comes to play.

If I stick my tongue out farther that will make me reach it
