Sugar Highs and Rotten Teeth

It's been almost a week now since Halloween or Trick or Treat day (that is what we call it at our house.) And I think I have eaten more candy in the last week than my pants can take. Since the candy has arrived Leandra says that she is hungry for candy about every 5 minutes and although we threw out over 80% of the candy that she was treated with by our family and friends that 20% seems to be lasting forever. How do you deal with the aftermath of Halloween? Do your kids seem to be on an endless sugar high from now until Christmas and at what point do you start to worry about rotten teeth?

We just let them eat it all fast, then it is gone. Our dentist told us that by letting them eat it all sooner is better than dragging it out with a little bit everyday. Our kids don't have any cavities!!
